XML invoice number not found in the PDF (IW-PDF-XML-RECHNUNGSNUMMER)

This is a hint from invowerk, not a validation rule.
Meaning
The invoice number (BT-1) from the XML file does not appear in the PDF's text. The comparison ignores spaces and case. Where they differ, the XML data prevails (UStAE 14.4 para. 3). The hint does not change the result.
Possible causes
- The PDF and the XML file come from different data, for example after a correction.
- The PDF shows another number, such as an order number.
- The PDF's text layer renders the number differently from how it is displayed.
How to fix it
- Compare the invoice number in the PDF with the invoice in your invoicing software.
- Generate the PDF and the XML file in one step from the same record (BT-1).
