About invowerk

invowerk checks e-invoices: ZUGFeRD and Factur-X, XRechnung (UBL and CII) and Peppol BIS. The web tool is free. The API delivers the same result to your software.

How invowerk checks

An XRechnung is checked by the KoSIT validator, the validation program of the Coordination Office for IT Standards (KoSIT), with the current rules. invowerk checks ZUGFeRD and Factur-X invoices against the FeRD rules for their profile, and the PDF for PDF/A as well. invowerk's own additional checks, such as the IBAN check digit, are shown separately as hints. They do not change the result.

The test bench holds test files with their expected results, the rule sets in use and every change with its date.

What invowerk does not check

invowerk does not check whether the service, amounts and tax rate match the transaction. invowerk gives no tax advice („keine steuerliche Beratung“).

Data

Invoices are checked in memory and discarded afterwards. The servers are in Germany. Details are in the privacy policy.
