This is a hint from invowerk, not a validation rule.
Meaning
The payment account (BT-84) looks like an IBAN, but its check digits or length are wrong. The XRechnung rule BR-DE-19 checks this only for SEPA credit transfers; this hint checks every IBAN. The hint does not change the result.
Possible causes
- Transposed or mistyped digits when the IBAN was entered.
- A digit is missing or duplicated.
- The IBAN was copied incompletely from another source.
How to fix it
- In your invoicing software, compare the IBAN character by character with the bank documents.
- Take BT-84 without spaces and in upper case from verified master data.
