More than one payment terms block (CII) (CII-SR-452)
- Standard: EN 16931
- Severity: error
- Affected fields: BT-9, BT-20
Meaning
A CII invoice should contain at most one payment terms block. EN 16931 only warns. The XRechnung rules turn it into an error, so the payment due date (BT-9) and the payment terms (BT-20) occur once each.
Possible causes
- The software writes the due date and the cash discount into two separate blocks.
- Several due dates or installments each get their own block.
How to fix it
- In your invoicing software, combine the due date and the cash discount in one payment term.
- In the XML: exactly one ram:SpecifiedTradePaymentTerms in ram:ApplicableHeaderTradeSettlement; several discount lines go together into ram:Description (BT-20).
