Seller telephone number has too few digits (BR-DE-27)
- Standard: XRechnung
- Severity: warning
- Affected fields: BT-42
Meaning
The telephone number of the seller contact (BT-42) should contain at least three digits. Otherwise it cannot be used for questions. A warning alone does not make the KoSIT validator reject the invoice.
Possible causes
- The telephone field holds a placeholder such as "n/a" or "none".
- The number is written in words or as a short extension only.
How to fix it
- In your invoicing software, store the full telephone number for questions about invoices.
- In the XML: set BT-42 with at least three digits (UBL cac:AccountingSupplierParty/cac:Party/cac:Contact/cbc:Telephone, CII ram:TelephoneUniversalCommunication/ram:CompleteNumber).
