Unit is not a UN/ECE code (BR-CL-23)
- Standard: EN 16931
- Severity: warning
- Affected fields: BT-130, BT-150
Meaning
Under EN 16931, units of measure (BT-130, BT-150) must be codes from UN/ECE Recommendation 20 and 21, e.g. H87 for piece. The XRechnung rules lower another code to a warning, so the KoSIT validator does not reject it.
Possible causes
- The software writes the display unit such as "Stk" or "Std" instead of the code.
- The code is in lower case, e.g. h87 instead of H87.
How to fix it
- In your invoicing software, map every unit to its UN/ECE code, e.g. piece H87, hour HUR, kilogram KGM.
- In the XML: set @unitCode to a code from the list (UBL cbc:InvoicedQuantity and cbc:BaseQuantity, CII ram:BilledQuantity and ram:BasisQuantity).
Example from the test bench: Unit of measure “Stk” instead of a UN/ECE code
